PEANUT SAUCE

  • 3 tbs peanut butter (45g)

  • 2 tbs hoisin sauce

  • 1.5 tbs apple cider vinegar

  • ¼ cup warm to hot water

  • ½ tsp sugar

  • 1 tbs dry roasted and crushed nuts

 

  1. Heat a small frying pan

  2. Add the nuts and fry until lightly browned then set aside until cooled

  3. Once cooled chop them

  4.  

  5. Mix the peanut butter, hoisin sauce and apple cider vinegar together in a small bowl ideally using a small whisk

  6. Mix the sugar and water together

  7. Add the sugary water to the peanut butter mixture

  8. Whisk until fully blended together

  9. Set aside – you can place it in the fridge to reset and cool
