HOMEMADE DIPS

GUACAMOLE

  • 4 avocados, chopped bite sized chunks

  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped

  • Small red onion, finely chopped

  • Handful of fresh basil, finely chopped

  • Juice of a lemon

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 garlic clove crushed (or to taste!)

 

 TOMATO SALSA

  • Punnet of tomatoes, finely chopped

  • Small red onion finely chopped

  • Handful of fresh coriander finely copped

  • Squeeze of lemon juice

  • Dash of olive oil if tomatoes are not very juicy

  • ¼ garlic clove crushed (or to taste!)

  

CORN SALSA

  • 110g corn

  • Half small red onion

  • 1-2 tomatoes

  • 1 medium pepper

  • Half lime juiced

  • Salt to taste

  • Coriander leaves small handful

 

 BLUE CHEESE DIP

  • ½ cup yogurt

  • ½ cup mayo

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp onion powder

  • ¼ tsp marjoram dried

  • ¼ tsp oregano dried

  • ¼ tsp black pepper (to taste)

You can use vegan yogurt, mayo and Worcestershire sauce to make this a vegan dip.

You can also add crumbled blue cheese or firm tofu to make this a cheesey dip.
