HOMEMADE DIPS
GUACAMOLE
4 avocados, chopped bite sized chunks
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
Small red onion, finely chopped
Handful of fresh basil, finely chopped
Juice of a lemon
Salt and pepper
1 garlic clove crushed (or to taste!)
TOMATO SALSA
Punnet of tomatoes, finely chopped
Small red onion finely chopped
Handful of fresh coriander finely copped
Squeeze of lemon juice
Dash of olive oil if tomatoes are not very juicy
¼ garlic clove crushed (or to taste!)
CORN SALSA
110g corn
Half small red onion
1-2 tomatoes
1 medium pepper
Half lime juiced
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves small handful
BLUE CHEESE DIP
½ cup yogurt
½ cup mayo
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp marjoram dried
¼ tsp oregano dried
¼ tsp black pepper (to taste)
You can use vegan yogurt, mayo and Worcestershire sauce to make this a vegan dip.
You can also add crumbled blue cheese or firm tofu to make this a cheesey dip.
